Welcome to the GIHG website!

Garngad Irish Heritage Group was established as a voluntary organisation under the terms and conditions of a Constitution on Saint Patrick’s Day, 17th March 2005, and works with local and national groups to fulfil its ‘Mission Statement’.

GIHG is affiliated to the Irish Diaspora Association of Scotland and supports An Sceal, the monthly Magazine of the Irish Community in Scotland.

GIHG is a not-for-profit organisation and is funded by its members, local fundraisers, The Government of Ireland and Glasgow City Council.
